PLAY THE L.A. RIVER

Project 51 invites Angelenos to enjoy, explore, reclaim and reimagine the mighty Los Angeles River as a grand civic space that can green and connect our communities.
This event is presented by Imrith Rode America, (P.V. member and organizer) along with Palm Tree Poetry, a grassroots movement in collaboration with colleagues and community leaders.
Women organizers from California Latinas for Reproductive Justice visited Alivio Open Mic to share knowledge with the community on reproductive issues that affect Latinas in the Southeast and beyond.
It was a beautiful night that included reproductive justice poetry workshops led by writer Iris de Anda, and other features including poetry by P.V. member Xitlalic Osuna.
